I have been taking pictures since high school, around my hometown of Springhill, Nova Scotia, where I freelanced for the local weekly newspaper; through university days in Sackville, New Brunswick, and Halifax, Nova Scotia; for several years living in St. John's, Newfoundland (a fabulous location for the photographically inclined); and for many years based in Mississauga, Ontario. After a number of years working in engineering and corporate communications (including in-house commercial photography), I now own and operate Boss Communications, a technical writing and corporate communications company, and Boss Photographic, which sells my photos and digital art images.
I work on this site as I have time, and have thousands of images to be processed and placed here, so check back often to see what's new!!
Well, that depends on where I am going and what I expect to see! I may carry a complete Nikon DSLR outfit, a serious compact camera, a pocket point and shoot or just my smartphone.
